Praise God!!! He has provided more abundantly then I ever asked, hoped or imagined- but then again he is God!!!! I don't know why I am always so surprised when he blesses my socks off!!!! He is just so good and gracious. So as is probably evident bymy praises we found a great house. It is about twice the size of the house we moved from in Jaksonville, FL. It is so huge!!! It has 4 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms. It has the usual kitchen, living room and dining room and get this it also has a rec/game room!!! It is three stories too- just so huge and such a blessing.

Here's how it ll happened! After a few discouraging weeks of house hunting in Virginia we decided to see what the state of Maryland had to offer. So we got in our car and drove nearly and hour east over the potomac river and back down south to Waldorf, Maryland. It is about on the same latitude as woodbridge is, just on the east side of the potomac river. It is the cutest town we had ever seen!!! It has all these rolling hills and beautiful farms with green feilds and it also has every shop and restaurant we could ever want as well!!! A perfect blend of small town with big city. And we aren't any further from the "Big City" then we would have been in Woodbridge, Virginia.

We looked in Waldorf a couple of different times and we found a single family home that was pretty small- not much bigger then the house we had in Jacksonville- but it was so cute and had a great yard so we put an offer in on it. We offered full price which is what you have to do around here in this crazy market. But the deal just never came together and it all kinda fell through. Then last Thursday I was looking online at the new listings in Waldorf and a townhouse came up that sounded on paper to be great. So I called Shirley, our incredible realtor, and she and I made an appointment to view it that afternoon. Immediately I fell in love with it, although the colors were a but excentric (But we have gotten really good at painting). So I called AJ and asked him to leave work and come see it. He loved it too and that night we wrote and signed our offer, of full price again as usual.

Then all we could do is wait, and wait we surely did!!! Every time we talked to our realtor our chances seemed more gilm. By Saturday the people had recieved 6 other offers on the house besides our!!! So i had pretty much given up on us having a chance. Then Sunday afternoon AJ and I went to see Starsky and Hutch (Which was really funny by the way) and when we got out AJ saw he had a message on his phone from Shirley, our realtor. Aj promtly called her and she said they accepted our offer!!! Even she was surprised they took it and AJ and I were exstatic!!! It was such a blessing and a surpise, we had both pretty much given up on any chance of us getting that house- but God didn't give up- He surely provided!!!!

We are so thankful and so happy how perfectly everything is coming together here for us in DC. We know this was the right decision and God has had so much favor on us here. We are so happy and thankful.

Everything here in Virginia is so beautiful. We can see the blue ridge mountains and there are hills- real hills. The houses here are absolutely amazing- but expensive too. We are probably just going to get a townhouse here- those aren't cheap either. But this will be a great place to live. We went looking for houses on Sunday with Rachel our realtor- we didn't find "the" house but it was still a productive outing. We certainly were able to see the area and make decisions on where we do and do not possibly want to live. We are focusing on the newer side of Woodbridge Virginia. It is west of I-95. And get this- there is an IKEA there!!! It is so awesome. Aj and I went there on Sunday and had a great time. We can't wait till we find our house so we can go shopping at Ikea for fun things for it.

Eli has been moving so much these days. He is getting so strong now. I feel him kicking and twisting and turning all day long now. It is really neat. Aj can feel him moving now too when he feels my belly. I am almost 21 weeks pregnant now and feeling pretty good. I am so thankful this has been such a smooth pregnancy so far. I can't wait for Eli to get here though- I am so excited to meet him and see what he looks like and dress him up in all the adorable clothes we have been given for him. AJ and I are so excited and ready to be parents- to love and raise Eli in the way God desires- I know it will be crazy and hard- but we are excited for the adventure we are about to embark on.
