Eli's First Babysitting Experience
So we decided that we could use some time out and decided to cash in our gift certificate that Kellie was awarded for giving birth at Southern Maryland Hospital. Apparently, the same man that owns the hospital, also owns the Colony South Hotel and the Mayfarer five-star restaurant that is attached. It was great! We went in and expected a choice of maybe three preset meals for the "Baby Certificates." But the waitress said, "Anything on the menu." How great is that?! It was wonderful. Kellie and I both had soup to start off, and followed that up with an incredible Fillet (top 2 steaks in Aj's book, and voted best-steak-of-my-life by Kellie). To finish it off we had our choice of dessert and both enjoyed coffee! It was just great!
Eli had an enjoyable evening too! A friend from Orlando, now living in McClean, VA, wanted to hang out with Eli while Kellie and I got out for a date-night. What a blessing: Thanks Sara!
